Since it's getting nice and hot (a little over 90 these past couple days) I thought I'd cruise down to the beach and remind myself why I live here. Here's a short list of the cars I saw today.
I saw two McLaren 12c Roadsters parked outside of McLaren of Newport Beach, as well as a few more shiny expensive things inside.
I saw six Ferraris on the street (not in the Ferrari dealership I passed). One was a F430 Scuderia, plus two more F430s and three 458 Italias. I saw about 5 Bentley Continentals, two convertibles. At least that many Maserati Gran Turismos. A CTS-V sedan and coupe.
I saw a black Mercedes C63 AMG, and no more than three cars in front of it was a G63 AMG. Several classic custon hot rods were also driving around. Two newer Shelby GT500s, and a Saleen Mustang as well as quite a few classics were out too.
Today was nice. I just hope this heat wave ends before winter does!

I think living in this area numbs me to the "oogle effect." I will still take a good look at most cars, but I am not nearly as enamored as I used to be by supercars when I was younger. I took a trip up to Malibu today and saw most of the cars you listed. Definitely a good first world problem to have! As a side note, I saw Jay Leno driving a Lotus Elan while driving my family along Mullholland.

That reminds me I also saw a green Tesla Roadster and an original Mini I forgot to list. I can't confirm a Leno sighting, although I did see a Ariel Atom a while back near LAX (where I saw a murdered out Maybach) and thought it could be him.
You absolutely get jaded living here. If I'd seen any one or two of these I wouldn't have cared, but all of them within an hour and 20 miles of each other did get to me.

I've seen a Noble M400, Alfa 8C, and a Smart roadster, all being driven on the streets. No idea how they got here, or how they were registered.

The Alfa 8C was actually officially imported and sold here. The Noble was sold here without an engine (installed) and could be registered as a kit car, like a Caterham or Cobra replica. I'm not sure how the Smart got here, it's possible but would be very expensive to import it. It could have been registered in Mexico and driven across the border.

But desalination is expensive.
